Social Aid Prepared for the Poor Affected by Large-scale Social Restrictions

Following the issuance of the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in the capital city, the Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared social food aid for the poor affected by this social restriction and the economic conditions that have fallen due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

It will be given for free," expressed Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan after a coordination meeting and PSSB discussion along with the Forkopimda, Tuesday (4/7) evening, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

"Including social cultural activities. No weddings but hold it at the religious affairs office without a reception. We also do the same on khitan (circumcisions)," he continued.

Closing the press conference, he again urged the entire community to comply with the policies that have been set for the common interest.

"We will take decisive steps for the violators. Once again I need to underline it because our interest is to control the spread of COVID-19," he asserted.
